Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in the sciences, or the equivalent in terms of education, experience and/or training.
  • No experience required - recent college grads considered
  • Valid unrestricted driver’s license and reliable driving record
  • Microsoft Office expertise
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to make technical decisions and engineering judgments independently within established parameters
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate (up to 25%)

  • Ability to use mechanical and electrical tools and instrumentation necessary to complete the tasks outlined above

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration, diagnostic and preventative maintenance on instrumentation and/or equipment.
  • Coordinate the repair of instrumentation and calibration of equipment with 3rd Party Vendors.
  • Ensure timely turn-around time on all instrumentation and equipment calibration services.
  • Conduct equipment review following the return of calibrated equipment.
  • Maintain accurate calibration records.
  • Maintain instrumentation and/or equipment list(s).
  • Ensure that preventative maintenance of equipment is performed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Review all calibration documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Create or maintain Calibration Certificates.
  • Perform or assist in performing suspect equipment investigations.
  • May Assist with writing and/or updating procedures to ensure efficiency, standardization, and accuracy.
  • Assist & Support the Design Services Engineers in any capacity that is needed.
  • Perform other work as required.
