About The Position

This Position is responsible for the calibration, routine inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of instruments, meters, gauges, and other testing and measuring equipment. The goal of a Calibration Technician is to ensure the accuracy and precision of the measurements taken using this equipment. The hourly range for this position is $23.45 - $32.95. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Requirements

  • Understanding and use of specialized software to manage and document calibration activities.
  • Must perform calculations and interpret numerical data to ensure the accuracy of measurements and calibrations.
  • Communicates and conveys information clearly to clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks, manage their workload, and complete assignments within established deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining, monitoring, and routinely inspecting calibration equipment to ensure it operates correctly and meets industry standards.
  • Using specialized tools and techniques to test and calibrate equipment, ensuring that it performs within the acceptable range of tolerance.
  • Ensuring that the equipment is properly functioning and meets industry standards after repairs or upgrades.
  • Following established calibration procedures to ensure accurate and consistent results, which are essential in maintaining the integrity of the calibration process and meeting industry standards.
  • Ensuring that measuring instruments provide accurate and reliable measurements, which is critical in the Pharma and Medical Devices industries.
  • Identifying potential issues with measuring equipment and determining the most effective solutions to resolve them.
  • Using specialized software to manage and document calibration activities.
  • Performing calculations and interpreting numerical data to ensure the accuracy of measurements and calibrations.
  • Communicating and conveying information clearly to clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Prioritizing tasks, managing workload, and completing assignments within established deadlines.
