About The Position

Blue Origin is hiring a Technical Sourcing Recruiter to support TeraWave, its satellite communications network venture, as part of the centralized corporate Talent Acquisition team. The recruiter will drive strategic technical recruiting across satellite and semiconductor programs, establish effective sourcing standards and practices, and advise senior leaders on talent markets and hiring strategy. The role requires experience sourcing and assessing technical professionals across software, embedded software, hardware, optical, radio frequency, and semiconductor disciplines. This is a fixed-term position. The recruiter will develop recruitment strategies and candidate pipelines, collaborate with hiring managers and senior leadership, conduct technical candidate assessments, champion the candidate experience, and improve recruiting processes and reporting. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or additional years of recruiting experience.
At least 3 years of technical recruiting experience, including engineering or related positions.

Responsibilities

Design and execute recruitment strategies to attract technical talent in software, embedded software, hardware, optical, RF, and semiconductor disciplines.
Conduct market mapping and competitive benchmarking to monitor talent trends in the satellite and semiconductor industries.
Build and maintain candidate pipelines for critical technical roles and develop long-term relationships with prospective candidates.
Assess candidates and prepare reports on technical qualifications and leadership capabilities to support hiring decisions.
Align recruiting strategies with TeraWave program objectives and organizational growth goals in partnership with senior and business unit leadership.
Provide talent intelligence to inform workforce planning and decisions about emerging market trends.
Mentor and develop junior recruiters, sharing best practices and supporting career growth.
Lead and participate in scoping discussions, weekly check-ins, and candidate debriefs with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
Prepare search status reports and lead regular client update meetings on active searches.
Partner with hiring managers to create sourcing models and targeted search strategies, and calibrate candidate profiles to role requirements.
Evaluate specialized skills in digital design, analog design, RTL coding, physical design, and related disciplines.
Develop a thorough understanding of role and business unit technical requirements.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through offer.
Lead candidate touchpoints such as executive meetings, site visits, and technical discussions.
Identify and implement recruitment process improvements.
Build and maintain dashboards and reports for recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and program impact.
Stay current on semiconductor industry trends, recruiting technologies, and technical talent acquisition practices.
