About The Position

Our Dairy Sales and Technical Service team supports customers across North America with deep expertise, collaborative problem‑solving, and a consultative approach to selling food culture and enzyme solutions. The team includes account managers, technical service managers, and sales leadership working closely together to help dairy producers succeed. As Technical Service Manager – Central Valley California, you will be a key technical partner to our dairy customers, focusing primarily on cheese production (cheddar, pasta filata, cottage cheese, and related varieties). You will support customer retention and site optimization while collaborating closely with Account Managers and technical colleagues across North America. Your impact will include: Enabling business retention and customer maintenance through proactive technical service and optimization activities Acting as a trusted technical advisor to customers, solving complex production challenges Supporting trials, data analysis, and technical reporting that drive customer value and growth Contributing technical expertise across North American regions as time allows. This role combines hands‑on plant work with analytical problem‑solving and strong collaboration across commercial, technical, and innovation teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cheese and fresh dairy manufacturing
  • In‑plant dairy production experience (required)
  • Strong knowledge of plant operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science, Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a similar field
  • Ability to conduct statistical analysis and translate data into practical process improvements
  • Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating across teams
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet travel requirements are required

Benefits

  • Base salary: USD $110,000 – $120,000
