About The Position

Johnson Controls is hiring a Technical Sales Trainee for its Building Early Career Sales Training (BEST) Program, a six-month development program for recent engineering graduates interested in technical sales. Trainees receive a dedicated mentor and support from a nationwide network of sales professionals. The program combines classroom training, hands-on experience, and customer interactions to develop technical expertise, business acumen, and relationship-building skills.

The trainee will learn about Johnson Controls' HVAC equipment, services, and building solutions while supporting sales activities, proposals, and project opportunities. The role involves developing relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and building owners, presenting technical solutions that improve building performance and sustainability, and working with local sales and operations teams to achieve customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering degree.
