About The Position

Woodland Direct is seeking a Technical Sales Support Representative I to assist customers, contractors, and the sales team with product selection, installation questions, troubleshooting, and technical support for their hearth products. While hearth industry experience is not required, the ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, technical curiosity, and a passion for problem-solving. This role offers the opportunity to transition from a field-based technical role into a career within the growing hearth industry, with comprehensive training and support provided, including assistance towards NFI certification.

Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable learning technical product information.
Basic computer proficiency and the ability to work within CRM and business systems.
Ability to type 30+ WPM (50+ WPM preferred).
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Willingness to begin working toward National Fireplace Institute (NFI) certification.

Meet individual service goals and follow up to ensure successful customer outcomes.
