Ecolab is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join its industry leading sales team. You’ll be responsible for revenue and profit growth of water treatment programs and services in targeted Institutional accounts. With a consultative sales approach, you’ll build relationships with existing customers by understanding their key business drivers and executing system assurance programs. With strong account leadership, you’ll also convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies to current customers. This position is supporting the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan, including Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon and a surrounding territory of approximately a 1500KM radius. Targeted accounts are within the Institutional sector including healthcare, hospitals, hotels, universities, commercial buildings, data centres etc. 4 - 6 nights/month of overnight travel will be required. Training programs are held in the field and at Ecolab Nalco Water Headquarters in Naperville, IL; travel arranged and paid for by Ecolab. Based on your skill level, topics covered may include technology, product, service, business and industry acumen, direct coaching and mentoring, management and leadership, classroom training and certifications.
