About The Position

C&S Chemicals seeks a Sales Representative in our industrial water treatment division to manage customer relationships, drive sales growth, and coordinate service delivery. This role will build and maintain our sales territory in an assigned region, focused on outside sales and account management for our industrial water treatment division. The Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, driving new business development, and ensuring top-tier service delivery. You will work closely with service technicians and internal teams to deliver tailored water treatment solutions while identifying opportunities for business growth within your territory.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client management.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple accounts.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute for education).
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial water treatment (cooling towers, boilers), HVAC, Plumbing or other mechanical industries.

  • Proven track record in account management and sales growth within the industrial or chemical sectors is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders within the region.
  • Set sales goals, ensure accurate forecasting and timely closing of deals.
  • Build ongoing value by updating customers' knowledge of our products.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, service reports, and sales activities.
  • Provides sales goals and activity to VP of Field Operations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives.
  • Develop and deliver proposals, quotes, and presentations for new and existing clients.
  • Achieve sales targets by promoting and upselling water treatment solutions, including those for cooling towers, boilers, and other various water treatment systems.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing technical expertise and responsive service.
  • Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of systems.
  • Ensures top-tier service delivery.
