About The Position

The Industrial Water & Wastewater Treatment Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining industrial water and wastewater treatment systems to support production operations and ensure compliance with environmental permits and company standards. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an industrial setting
  • Experience working with pumps, motors, blowers, compressors
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read P&IDs, operating procedures, and technical manuals
  • Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial water or wastewater treatment experience preferred
  • Familiarity with SCADA/DCS systems
  • Mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations
  • Engineering degree or technical training in industrial maintenance, environmental technology, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor facilities water and wastewater equipment
  • Monitor operation of the water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with facilities strict quality and uptime requirements
  • Collaborate with key internal and 3rd party stakeholders on ways to improve efficiency, quality and reliability of water and wastewater systems
  • Collect samples and perform routine laboratory analysis
  • Inspect equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs or operational issues
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of plant operations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and permit requirements
  • Respond to alarms, equipment malfunctions, and emergency situations as needed
  • Suggest and implement improvements to maintenance processes and equipment to enhance reliability and efficiency.
