Technical Sales Representative NEX
About The Position
This role requires relocation to Williston, ND. Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for clients during field operations. Conduct site assessments, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide on-the-spot engineering support. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are accurately captured and implemented. Analyzes well performance and helps completions engineers optimize stimulation design. Analyzes and provides recommendation data where wells and processing machinery should be placed in order to maximize production. Analyze data in order to recommend placement of wells and supplementary processes to enhance production. Monitors production rates and reworks processes to improve production where possible. Prepare presentations, detailed reports, documentation, and recommendations based on field observations. Support project planning, execution, and post-project reviews with a focus on continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Work closely with field staff, sales and technicians as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of field engineering experience, preferably in a client-facing role, in lieu of a BS in STEM/Engineering
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently in remote or challenging environments.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
- Willingness to travel frequently within district or to HQ as required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/STEM w/2-4 years of Field Experience
- Experience in Frac, Power Solutions, EOS, or other NEX product line is highly desired
- Familiarity with client relationship management and project coordination.
- Certifications such as PMP, PE, or industry-specific credentials are a plus.
