This position is for a Technical Sales Representative at Freudenberg, specifically for SurTec Inc. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of technical sales experience metal pre-treatment or electroplating industries.
• Knowledge on chemistry of surface finishing products and processes.
• Ability to travel extensively (on average 80%).
• Candidate must live within territory boundaries to support our customer base effectively.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales and technical service of surface finishing treatment industry products and process chemicals throughout the North Mid-West United States, including the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois.
• Supporting strategy on core product lines and pricing to meet or exceed projected sales volumes and maintain profitability levels.
• Growing market share of each product line within the territory at existing accounts and through acquisition of new business from competitors.
• Identifying critical path for evaluation and approval of products at the customer by working with management and support areas to secure business opportunities, optimize profitability, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Managing product marketing, sales introduction, and price negotiation with customer base.
• Provide, under direct supervision, technical support to Distributors in the market area.
