Technical Sales Representative

About The Position

This role involves providing proposals and processing sales, ensuring all processes and deadlines are met. The Technical Sales Representative will support Account Managers by preparing proposals, communicating with customers, and coordinating jobs. A key part of the role includes designing layouts for proposals using Mitek and BisTrack software, and communicating with Designers to resolve any layout concerns. The position also requires a focus on Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing to enhance business operations daily. Maintaining positive relationships with staff, clients, and industry partners through effective communication is essential. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Ability to accurately read and interpret construction drawings
Strong mathematical skills with high degree of accuracy
Basic engineering design and principals
Understanding of Manufacturing technology, especially related to wood, truss and building manufacturing
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Mitek Design and BisTrack Programs would be considered an asset
Experience in Residential and/or Commercial Construction is preferable
Training in Architectural Drafting, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management would be considered an asset

Responsibilities
