Texas InstrumentsSanta Clara, CA
$90,000 - $125,000

About The Position

This role is part of the Career Accelerator Program (CAP) at TI, which offers professional and technical training to help new hires succeed long-term. Within CAP, there's a specific focus on the FAST (Field Applications & Sales Training) Program, designed to prepare team members for customer-oriented careers that blend technical skills with business acumen. The FAST program has two tracks: Field Applications and Technical Sales. This specific role is for the Technical Sales Engineer track, an 8-month program aimed at teaching Technical Sales Associates (TSAs) how to build and manage customer relationships and influence decisions to increase TI's revenue. The track includes three rotations: Rotation 1 (Field Sales Office) focuses on integrating TSAs with local sales teams to learn the sales process, partner with customers, and win opportunities using TI's virtual account system. Rotation 2 (Mass Market) trains FAEs on scaling actions across multiple customers and developing more efficient sales processes, emphasizing leveraging TI's resources, automation, scalable selling, decision-making in uncertain conditions, and direct customer interactions. Rotation 3 (Business Unit/Systems Engineering & Marketing) provides hands-on experience with TI's product lifecycles, its 3-vector approach, and operational knowledge, both remotely and in person, to understand the role of business and SEM in the selling model. Upon successful completion, participants become Technical Sales Representatives (TSRs) on TI's Worldwide Sales & Applications team.
