About The Position

Help manufacturers and logistics businesses solve real-world engineering challenges. We're looking for a commercially minded Technical Sales Engineer to join a growing business delivering innovative industrial technology solutions across warehousing and logistics environments. You'll work with customers to understand operational challenges and recommend technical solutions involving automation equipment, machine vision systems, sensors, industrial devices and process improvement technologies. If you enjoy combining engineering expertise with customer interaction, this is an opportunity to work on technically interesting projects with major industrial organisations across the UK.

Requirements

Experience in a technical sales, applications engineering, field engineering or solutions environment
Understanding of industrial automation, machine vision, robotics, sensors, instrumentation, material handling equipment or related technologies
Ability to discuss technical concepts with engineers, operations managers and senior stakeholders
Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills
UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites

Responsibilities

Building relationships with manufacturing, engineering and logistics customers
Understanding customer processes, challenges and operational requirements
Providing consultative technical advice and solution recommendations
Conducting site visits, demonstrations and technical presentations
Working closely with the sales team and technical teams to demo and build solutions for our customers
Supporting customers from initial concept through to implementation
