About The Position

This U.S. based position is for a Technical Sales Consultant focused on EcoStruxure Geo SCADA Expert. The role involves working with customers to create solutions using Geo SCADA software and other Schneider solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with other TSCs, internal and external sales staff, offer management, and R&D to develop, build, troubleshoot, and enhance customer solutions. The primary markets will be the upstream and midstream energy sectors, as well as water and wastewater, among others. The ability to travel up to 50% of the time is essential, requiring frequent travel across the United States and Canada to meet with customers and provide technical knowledge, expertise, and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Technologist Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a similar discipline.
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and platforms.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Geo SCADA experience.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructures and data management in IIoT.
  • Experience with automation systems such as SCADA, RTUs, and PLCs.
  • Experience with automation protocols such as MQTT, Sparkplug B, OPC UA, Modbus, DNP3, and EthernetIP.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and/or OT Security, including Active Directory and Azure AD.

Responsibilities

  • Working with customers to help them create solutions using the Geo SCADA software package and other Schneider solutions.
  • Collaborating closely with other TSCs, internal and external sales staff, offer management, and R&D to develop, build, troubleshoot, and enhance solutions for customers.
  • Focusing on the upstream and midstream energy sectors, as well as water and wastewater, among others.
  • Traveling up to 50% of the time across the United States and Canada to meet with customers and provide technical knowledge, expertise, and training.
