Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1+ years of prior Customer Service experience or equivalent combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field.
  • Teamwork and the ability to cooperate and work proactively with others is a must.
  • Must be able to manage time efficiently.
  • Great attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated; willing to put in extra effort and hours as needed.
  • Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook Word).
  • Works under direct supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Company Values.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.
  • Manages the Daniel Defense fleet of demonstration and trade show firearms. Including shipping firearms to various events.
  • Maintain and repair demonstration firearms, replace worn parts, clean and lubricate firearms.
  • Keep records of firearm shipments and conduct routine inventory audits
  • Train Daniel Defense customers, including law enforcement and military on armorer level tasks with Daniel Defense firearms.
  • Plan and conduct live fire demonstration events for Daniel Defense employees and customers.
  • Ensure and provide timely quality service to all customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, e-mail and web contacts to provide technical problem resolution within the timeline established by Director of Revenue Operations.
  • Resolve intermediate and complex customer problems and communicate solutions or requested information to the customer.
  • Analyze customer’s service needs using experience and refer to other service or technical departments as a last resort.
  • Utilize a database to record activities and research product information.
  • Work under limited supervision in both office and remote settings.
  • Rely on experience to perform the functions of the job.
  • Participates in the company’s efforts to continuously improve Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
  • Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment
  • Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.
