About The Position

The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for promoting Hydraulic, Filtration, Hose Fittings, Pneumatics, Electromechanical and Automation products / complete sales products and solutions to exceed revenue and profit targets in the given territory.

Requirements

  • Certificate/Diploma of Collegial Studies in a related discipline (technical and/or commercial preferably).
  • Ideally 1-3 years in industrial sales, with experience in solution sales.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mastery of Office 365 and the ERP system.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to phone calls and emails in a professional manner.
  • Support the Missasauga team.
  • Exceed territory revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Set territory goals focusing on solution selling and maximizing the value Wainbee brings to the customer, understanding their business, goals and challenges.
  • Understand key territory markets and Wainbee products/solutions with the goal of developing markets/accounts.
  • Schedule/participate in regular calls and maintain a close relationship with primary and complementary vendors.
  • Analyze daily, monthly and quarterly pre-performances.
  • Generate and manage qualified leads and opportunities.
  • Prepare, understand and present project proposals.
  • Follow up on quotes with the intention of converting the quote to an order.
  • Keep CRM up to date with opportunities, activities, quote status and customer contact information.
  • Ongoing training with the Quebec team, technique and system understanding.
