About The Position

As a Technical Reviewer II Product Certification (Materials – Food Contact Evaluation), you will conduct product reviews and evaluations for a wide range of food contact materials, chemical cleaners, and other materials against various established policies, guidelines, standards, and regulations. These include, but are not limited to, Nonfood Compound Registration, US Code of Federal Regulations (21 CFR), Food Equipment, NSF/ANSI Standard 51, and EPA’s Safer Choice Standard for Food Contact Materials. The Technical Reviewer II plays a crucial role in the certification process, ensuring the quality of certifications for clients. This position involves performing a variety of technical, administrative, and customer-related duties of varying complexity. NSF, with a legacy spanning over 80 years, utilizes science and innovation to enhance human and planetary health through science-driven, independent testing, inspection, certification, and advisory services. Requirements

  • Experience in product reviews and evaluation for food contact materials, chemical cleaners, and other materials.
  • Knowledge of policies, guidelines, standards, and regulations including Nonfood Compound Registration, US Code of Federal Regulations (21 CFR), Food Equipment, NSF/ANSI Standard 51, EPA’s Safer Choice Standard, Food Contact Materials.
  • Ability to perform technical, administrative, and customer-related duties.
  • Understanding of the certification process and quality assurance.

Responsibilities
