About The Position

Andromeda is developing the social intelligence layer for humanoid robots, enabling them to understand people, build relationships, and integrate into daily life. Their first robot, Abi, is currently used in aged care and healthcare to provide conversation, companionship, and engagement. The company is now expanding from initial deployments to a platform capable of operating in thousands of real-world environments. They are seeking individuals passionate about tackling complex challenges in robotics and AI to help shape the future of human-robot interaction. This role is a Technical Recruitment Contractor based in San Francisco, focusing on driving local recruitment efforts, enhancing candidate experience, and supporting employer branding initiatives. The contractor will work closely with the Chief People Officer and Global Talent Acquisition Specialist, balancing hands-on talent acquisition and headhunting with global recruitment administration and shaping the local San Francisco presence.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a proven track record of hiring technical roles within a start-up environment.
• Solid understanding of US/California labor laws.
• Proficiency in using HR data, working with spreadsheets, and generating metrics for strategic decision-making.
• Familiarity with modern HRIS platforms (e.g., Rippling, Deel) and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Workable).
• Hands-on experience using modern AI tools or LLMs for tasks like data analysis, code/formula generation, or text extraction.
• Experience with modern AI-forward financial platforms to enhance workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive full-cycle recruitment, focusing on high-impact software and hardware roles, with the flexibility to recruit for operations roles.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and by engaging with diverse talent pools.
• Develop and implement creative strategies to attract hard-to-reach talent.
• Ensure an exceptional candidate experience, including within the Andromeda Robotics San Francisco office.
• Assist with global recruitment administration, including applicant screening, interview scheduling, and optimizing the Applicant Tracking System.
• Support employer branding and talent marketing efforts, such as updating careers pages, creating social media content, and organizing local networking and hiring events.
• Manage the onboarding experience for new team members in San Francisco to ensure a smooth and impactful first week.
• Align local San Francisco hiring plans with the broader global recruitment strategy.
• Manage local candidate scheduling and interview loops.
• Host candidate visits to the San Francisco office to provide a high-touch experience.
• Track and maintain accurate candidate pipeline data in the ATS.
• Provide regular hiring updates and local market talent insights to leadership.
