About The Position

Camber is growing rapidly and needs to scale its Talent organization thoughtfully and quickly. This role will own technical recruiting as hiring across engineering and data accelerates. The Technical Recruiter will partner closely with leadership, hiring managers, and candidates to attract and close top technical talent in areas such as software engineering, infrastructure, security, product engineering, data, and AI/ML. The role may also involve searches in operations, customer experience, and go-to-market (GTM) based on business needs. The ideal candidate should be excited about recruiting as both a craft and a competitive advantage, possess strong technical understanding, be curious about emerging tooling, and be adept at experimenting with new sourcing, engagement, and closing strategies.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience in startup or high growth environments.
  • Proven track record hiring strong engineering and data talent.
  • Proven ability to build trusting and strategic relationships with engineering and data leaders.
  • Excellent sourcing skills across LinkedIn, outbound channels, communities, events, and emerging platforms.
  • Strong closing skills, including building trust and excitement with candidates and navigating conversations on compensation, equity, and buy-in.
  • Ability to move quickly and execute with care and concern for impact.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a relationship-oriented ethic.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and energized by building from scratch.
  • Familiarity with modern recruiting platforms and workflows including Ashby, Gem, Juicebox, and AI-enabled sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own top-of-funnel initiatives, including scaling sourcing efforts, A/B testing outreach content, and experimenting with new methods.
  • Partner on search strategy by building talent maps, researching markets, and developing creative outreach approaches.
  • Lead with data by understanding funnel metrics, identifying areas for improvement, maintaining a clean ATS, and using data to drive insights and decisions.
  • Scale hiring throughput and efficiency to meet aggressive hiring goals, such as doubling the engineering team.
  • Level up candidate experience by providing white-glove service, coordinating scheduling, and managing onsite interviews.
  • Test new tools, workflows, and systems to improve recruiting efficiency and equity, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Own the outcome of recruiting initiatives and demonstrate a commitment to building from scratch.
