About The Position

Alaffia is a new kind of claims operations partner for health plans, using expert clinicians and transparent AI to deliver deeper insights, smarter automation, and consistently better outcomes across the entire lifecycle of claims. We are a high-growth, venture-backed Series B healthtech startup based in NYC, actively scaling our company. We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our team for 4-6 months, with potential conversion to full-time, to focus on hiring across our EPD organization (including Software Engineering, AI, Data Engineering, and Product Management). The role involves owning full-cycle recruiting for 4-6 unique roles at any given time, focusing on bringing candidates through to offer in streamlined interview processes while also building talent pipelines for long-term growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in digital health or healthtech recruiting and can balance speed with quality for volume roles with strict time-to-fill requirements, maintaining a great candidate experience.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of full-cycle tech recruiting experience (in-house) in high-growth tech-focused organizations
  • An understanding of the broader talent market trends, especially the rapidly evolving AI space, and can speak credibly to technical candidates
  • Experience with deadline-driven recruiting, operating with urgency to fill roles from open to offer within 30-45 days
  • Strong sourcing skills with demonstrable experience building pipelines from scratch
  • Proficiency with modern ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or similar)
  • Expert-level LinkedIn Recruiter and search capabilities

  • Digital health or healthtech recruiting experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage 4-6 open requisitions simultaneously across our EPD organization
  • Own the entire recruiting process from intake to offer acceptance: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, managing feedback, and closing candidates
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and urgency levels, while advising on role prioritization and expectations
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Leverage multiple channels including job boards, employee referrals, networking, and direct outreach
  • Coordinate interview schedules across multiple stakeholders with limited availability
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our ATS (we use Kula, but experience with any of Greenhouse, Ashby, or Gem is advantageous)
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers and Recruiting lead on pipeline status, bottlenecks, and forecast
