About The Position

As molecular data generation and frontier model intelligence grows, new approaches to biological intelligence are needed across the biotech industry. Latch works with 5,000+ scientists, 150+ R&D labs, and many Frontier AI Labs to help develop and deploy the next generation of biological AI Agents, from experiment to insight. This is a super critical and exciting time for the company — we've 4x'd our team to 60 people and eight figures in revenue, and we're doubling every couple of months. We're compounding on massive product initiatives while thoughtfully building the culture and people behind LatchBio. We're built to rapidly scale the technical organization required to engineer superhuman intelligence in every domain of biology. A large part of our founding team has worked together for 5–10 years, with deep friendships and trust in each other. That trust is what lets us move fast with low coordination overhead — deciding quickly, disagreeing well, and scaling without losing any of it.

Responsibilities

Source and close candidates for roles across assay platforms including spatial transcriptomics, scRNA-seq, proteomics, genomics, biosurveillance, omics, and emerging fields.
Source computational and wet lab experts, as well as Sales and Operations talent.
Work closely with the existing Technical Recruiter day to day.
Collaborate directly with founders, COO, Chief of Staff, and 4-6 hiring managers at a time.
Run 40+ intro calls a week.
Scale 30+ hires a quarter without losing the company culture.
Manage full-cycle recruiting: outreach, screening (technical and cultural), scheduling, hiring manager feedback loops, negotiation, and close.
Maintain a clean and trustworthy Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate pipeline stages and records.
Handle rejections with care and respect.
Align with hiring managers to define hiring goals and archetypes.
Conduct periodic check-ins with new hires to aid integration and maintain culture consistency.
Optimize and automate recruiting processes to support scaling 30+ hires per quarter without compromising quality.
Support broader operations and strategy work, such as office moves or cross-team needs, when bandwidth allows.
Build the best recruiting function in the industry, focusing on reputation and the machine behind every hire, not just filling roles.
