Overview of the Role We are looking for an exceptional Tech Recruiter to elevate our hiring engine and help Pelago compete for top technical talent across NYC, London, and other strategic markets. This is a hands-on role focused on both immediate impact and long-term capability building: you will deliver high-quality hires while strengthening our sourcing strategies, assessment processes, and AI-augmented recruiting systems. In this role, you will build and activate strong talent networks, engage passive candidates with intention and consistency, and partner closely with hiring leaders to maintain a high bar for technical excellence. You will also help refine our employer brand by ensuring that Pelago’s mission, values, and culture show up clearly and credibly throughout the candidate experience. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong execution with thoughtful systems thinking: someone who is energized by finding great people, improving the way we do it, and representing Pelago’s mission with clarity and care. This is a hybrid role with a high-collaboration rhythm (3 days/week in our NYC office).
