About The Position

Joining Coder as a Technical Recruiter is an opportunity to be a part of a high-impact, progressive, and collaborative team. We are trusted to represent Coder externally and guide all levels of the business in hiring decisions. You partner closely with hiring teams and candidates from the first conversation through handoff to the onboarding team. You balance speed and empathy, providing a tailored and consistent experience for both candidates and internal team members. This is a 6-month contract with the opportunity to convert to a full-time role. About Coder Coder is an AI software development company leading the future of autonomous coding. We empower teams to build software faster, more securely, and at scale through the collaboration of AI coding agents and human developers. Our mission is to make agentic AI a safe, trusted, and integral part of every software development lifecycle. Our self-hosted Cloud Development Environment (CDE) is the foundation for deploying agentic AI in the enterprise. It provides a secure, standardized, and governed workspace to deploy autonomous coding agents alongside human developers, accelerating innovation while maintaining control and compliance. Coder's isolated, policy-driven environments improve productivity, cut cloud costs, and reduce data risks. Developers transition to AI at their own pace using their own tools. Platform and security teams can govern, audit, and manage a great developer experience at scale.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles, with emphasis on Engineering, Product, and GTM
  • Comfort discussing technical fundamentals, role expectations, and pitching Coder to candidates
  • Strong partnership skills with hiring managers and cross‑functional teams
  • Clear written and verbal communication; direct, respectful, and timely
  • Organized approach to pipelines, prioritization, and competing deadlines
  • Prior experience working in a startup environment and using Ashby ATS

  • Substantial experience hiring for AI, developer tools, infrastructure, or open‑source teams
  • Prior experience scaling with a growing company
  • Proactive approach to improving systems and processes for the team

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical roles, from intake through offer, while keeping candidate experience top of mind
  • Source and engage candidates across multiple channels with creative, eye-catching outreach
  • Manage hiring teams end-to-end, providing proactive communication and transparent feedback
  • Track pipeline health, identify bottlenecks/challenges, and adjust strategy using data
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation in Ashby, Notion, etc. to keep hiring teams aligned
