About The Position

McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational solutions, is looking for a Technical Recruiter as part of our global Talent Acquisition team. In this new role, you will build and execute strategic talent plans for technology roles across multiple business units. In addition, will partner with leaders to understand their strategic vision and hiring objectives and provide insight into labor market behavior, trends, and market intelligence to create recruitment strategies. This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a recruitment or talent advisory role.
  • End -to-end recruitment experience is required.
  • Well versed in all key areas of the recruitment ecosystem and process.
  • Proven recruiting track record for technology roles and experience recruiting Software Engineers.
  • Experience serving as a talent partner for business leaders and creating strategic recruitment plans.
  • Experience leveraging an EVP to inform and drive recruitment strategy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships, internally and externally, and interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be a team player, manage multiple projects and possess a strong knowledge of diversity metrics and analytics.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with technology leaders and HR partners to understand the business strategy and hiring needs and develop a recruitment strategy that enables us to attract and hire critical technical talent.
  • Leverage the business strategy to adapt our EVP to attract and differentiate McGraw Hill in the talent market.
  • Proactively build diverse talent pipelines and ensure a diverse candidate slate is presented as well as progress made towards our representation goals.
  • Own the recruitment process from end-to-end.
  • Gather position requirements from the discovery session to form the recruitment strategy and post open positions on various sites using our EVP messaging.
  • Collaborate with a sourcing partner to maintain top of funnel recruitment strategies.
  • Execute on assessment and interview strategy, candidate selection, and offer management.
  • Build relationships and serve as a talent partner with business leaders and hiring managers within dedicated functional area.
  • Partner with TA Coordinator, Business HR, HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) and enterprise teams to ensure alignment on TA strategy and execution thereof.
  • Provide a high touch and personalized experience for candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Utilizes technology and automation where it makes sense and provides frequent engagement related to setting expectations and providing updates on candidate status.
  • Utilize various technologies to drive efficiency and productivity during the recruitment process.
  • Effectively utilize available tools within the ATS, candidate funnel management, and other add on tools and software.
  • Strategically utilize shared data and information to inform and drive the recruitment strategy.
