About The Position

Proofpoint is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Technical Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting for critical engineering functions. This role involves partnering with hiring managers, developing hiring strategies, refining recruiting processes, and ensuring an excellent candidate experience. The Technical Recruiter will be instrumental in attracting and hiring top talent to shape the company's future.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in fast-paced or high-growth environments
  • Proven track record of hiring for technical complex or niche roles
  • Strong ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
  • Expertise in sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, outbound, networking, etc.)
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using ATS and recruiting analytics tools
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
  • Passion for delivering a high-quality candidate experience
  • Experience mentoring others or contributing to team development

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage full-cycle recruiting for complex and high-impact roles across multiple teams
  • Partner closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to define hiring needs, job requirements, and interview processes
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build diverse and high-quality candidate pipelines
  • Act as a strategic advisor on talent market trends, compensation insights, and hiring best practices
  • Drive improvements in recruiting processes, tools, and metrics to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience from initial outreach through offer stage
  • Mentor and support junior recruiters or coordinators as needed
  • Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics and performance
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives throughout the hiring process
