About The Position

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company focused on transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. We are seeking a Technical Recruiter for our Connected Warfare Production Recruiting team. This role involves full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing engineering, production, and supply chain talent essential for turning designs into deliverable systems. The position requires a hands-on approach, partnering directly with operations and program leaders to identify, attract, and close top talent. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of production environments, be able to speak the language of the factory floor, and translate hiring needs into business impact. This role is based in Costa Mesa, CA, Seattle, WA, or remote, and is a contract-only position with eligibility for conversion. Startup, manufacturing, and/or relevant domain experience is highly desired.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of sourcing for technical roles and engaging top-tier talent.
  • 3+ years of client-facing experience working with Hiring Managers and Directors, taking new requirements, reviewing profiles, and reporting pipeline progress.
  • A deep network and real fluency in manufacturing engineering, production, and/or supply chain.
  • Understanding of manufacturing language (takt times, cycle times, throughput, yield) and historical recruitment of roles like Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Test Engineers, Design Engineers, Purchasers, Buyers, and Industrial Engineers.
  • Operationally minded: ability to identify problems early, bring solutions, and earn respect from operations and manufacturing leaders.
  • Strong closing and negotiation skills, with a track record of closing hard-to-win talent and negotiating offers with seasoned negotiators.
  • Experience working with government contractors, DoD agencies, and IC agencies.
  • Experience hiring candidates with U.S. security clearances.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant-screening methods.
  • A consultative track record, providing guidance that has led to better hiring outcomes, positive candidate experiences, and respect from peers and clients.
  • Clear, effective communication skills to understand candidate motivation, drivers, and fit.
  • Disciplined management of multiple candidate funnels.
  • Self-sufficient and able to operate with little direct supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Startup, manufacturing, and/or relevant domain experience.
  • Supply chain talent experience, including a clear picture of a successful supply chain organization in a manufacturing company (automotive, aerospace, etc.), and knowledge of great leaders, program managers, buyers, and procurement specialists.
  • Experience supporting CapEx organizations.
  • Awareness of commodities facing market constraints and a track record staffing procurement, buyer, and purchasing roles against those constraints.
  • Understanding of the procurement cycle, including RFP and RFQ processes.
  • Experience at an agency or fast-paced startup supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or production environments.
  • Hands-on experience working in production and/or supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Source, track, and maintain a high volume of candidates while ensuring open communication with stakeholders.
  • Understand the product, technical roadmap, and manufacturing processes (takt times, cycle times, throughput, yield) to effectively pitch opportunities.
  • Translate hiring needs into their impact on throughput and revenue to drive urgency and prioritization with hiring managers.
  • Build trust with operations and program leaders through consistency and a strong operating rhythm, influencing talent strategy while executing deliverables.
  • Develop a sharp understanding of the mission, pitch the team and opportunity, and close offers, including with strong negotiators.
  • Track and analyze pipeline and performance data to identify areas of opportunity and create data-driven narratives.
  • Build recruiting strategies that scale, implementing referrals, process improvements, and automation.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert in prospecting, information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, process automation, and candidate management.
  • Conduct candidate interviews, anticipate hiring manager preferences, and achieve high interview-to-offer ratios.
  • Source passive talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Boolean strings, referrals, and SOBO campaigns.
  • Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience through proactive communication and engagement.
