About The Position

Relativity Space is seeking a full-cycle Technical Recruiter to support their Hardware Engineering team. This role involves partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, developing and executing recruiting strategies, sourcing and engaging talent, and guiding candidates through the hiring process. The recruiter will become a subject matter expert in hardware technical recruiting, working with senior leaders to identify top talent. Responsibilities include developing creative strategies to engage passive candidates, serving as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, strengthening the recruiting funnel, building equitable interview processes, evaluating new tools, and staying informed on industry trends. The role also emphasizes advocating for an exceptional candidate experience. This is a fully onsite role at the Long Beach headquarters, requiring five days per week in the office.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience within fast-scaling, high-growth organizations.
  • Proven track record of sourcing passive talent and successfully filling early- to mid-career roles.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with hiring managers to develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies.
  • Experience negotiating offers and using creative closing strategies to secure top talent.
  • Experience improving recruiting processes to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Experience recruiting for rapidly scaling hardware and manufacturing organizations.
  • Experience managing both high-volume, non-exempt hiring and specialized exempt searches simultaneously.
  • Ability to quickly pivot between departments, priorities, and hiring needs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs, team dynamics, and business priorities.
  • Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies.
  • Source and engage exceptional talent.
  • Guide candidates through the full hiring process—from initial outreach through offer acceptance.
  • Become a subject matter expert in hardware technical recruiting and partner closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to define and identify top talent in this field.
  • Develop creative strategies to engage passive candidates, leveraging industry expertise, market insights, and data to effectively close candidates.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and interview teams within Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Develop and implement ideas to strengthen the recruiting funnel, build equitable interview processes, evaluate and introduce new tools, and stay informed on industry technology trends and competitive market data.
  • Advocate for an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
