About The Position

The role works closely with engineering, product management, and quality teams to ensure documentation is technically accurate and easy to understand. The company manufactures mobility device lifts for vehicles and accessibility products.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical writing or a related field.
• Strong ability to simplify complex concepts for a wide audience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with documentation processes, templates, and version control systems.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot to enhance productivity.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Adobe InDesign experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit technical manuals, procedures, and product documentation.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise language.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure content accuracy.
• Create and maintain technical specifications and test documentation.
• Produce and manage digital and print documentation.
• Ensure consistency in terminology, tone, and formatting across materials.
• Maintain and update documentation, including version control and revisions.
