About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract role focused on leading and managing projects in infrastructure provisioning, security initiatives, data center migrations, and End of Life Programs. The position requires working in a fast-paced enterprise environment, building strong relationships with business and technology teams, and effectively communicating technical details and best practices.

Requirements

5+ years of work experience, including 3 years in Technical Project Management roles
Strong background in networks, storage, hardware, and data centers
Experience in supporting large enterprises
Knowledge of infrastructure technologies (physical server hosting, virtual machine hosting, storage, network, database, middleware, network traffic management, Network DMZ)
Experience with Jira software
Background in cloud, virtualization, and bare metal environments
Understand technical concepts like DNS, Active Directory, NAS, Firewall, Proxy, and SMTP
Background in clustering, disaster recovery, and high availability
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

Manage projects related to infrastructure provisioning, security projects, data center migrations, and End of Life Programs
Lead meetings and communicate technical details related to projects
Work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
Build trusted relationships with the business and technology teams
Analyze and communicate capacity management related tasks
Communicate standards and best practices to Lines of Businesses
Work with System Administrator teams to help ensure server standards are being met
Coordinate Linux virtual and physical builds, upgrades, patching, and support
