About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the deployment and delivery of technology projects. The role partners closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and leadership to drive project execution, manage priorities, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives. The successful candidate is organized, collaborative, and proactive, with strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, and can manage multiple initiatives while supporting business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a hybrid position for candidates based in the Chicago metropolitan area or Southern Wisconsin. Periodic onsite collaboration with the client in Burlington, Wisconsin is required.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Project Management experience.
• At least 2 years of Business Analysis experience.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate across teams and leadership levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Experience managing technical professionals and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience assessing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership, team-building, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Visio.
• Candidates must be based in the Chicago metropolitan area or Southern Wisconsin and be able to participate in periodic onsite collaboration in Burlington, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements, project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Manage requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation to capture business and end-user needs.
• Develop business process flows and workflow documentation.
• Identify project dependencies, risks, and constraints, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to communicate project vision, priorities, and implementation plans.
• Facilitate estimation, prioritization, and backlog management sessions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Support organizational change management and user adoption initiatives.
• Recommend process improvements and operational enhancements to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Promote architectural standards, governance, and consistency across initiatives.
• Provide consultative guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work with development and technical teams to ensure business requirements are translated accurately into technical solutions.
• Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and assess technical feasibility.
• Assist in identifying infrastructure and technical requirements needed to deploy automation solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to support implementation and integration activities.
• Support issue resolution and remove project roadblocks in a timely manner.
