About The Position

The Infosys Communications, Media, and Technology (CMT) unit works with clients in telecommunications, media, and technology to enable digital transformation and growth. In the assigned Technology Consultant 3 role, the employee gathers client requirements, designs and develops software solutions, and guides testing, infrastructure implementation, deployment, and system rollouts. The role also involves analyzing incidents, building client and internal relationships, maintaining knowledge resources, contributing to technology selection and implementation roadmaps, and supporting proposals and RFPs. The position may require relocation and/or travel to a work or project location. Applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Experience with technical project or program management.
Experience with Agile/Scrum and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience with application development and cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
Experience in Java, .NET, or Python environments, APIs, and microservices.
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD.
Skills in project planning, release management, RAID management, dependency management, resource planning, and delivery tracking.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
Skills in stakeholder management, executive reporting, and escalation management.
Experience coordinating onsite/offshore delivery.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
May be required to relocate and/or travel to the work or project location.

Responsibilities

Create business requirement documents covering functional and non-functional requirements based on workshops and interviews with client stakeholders.
Craft high- and low-level software designs, validate them through prototypes, and incorporate feedback to optimize functionality.
Develop critical and complex software applications and work with the development team to establish coding standards and methodologies aligned with design and architectural specifications.
Create and guide comprehensive testing strategies that conform to functional and non-functional requirements.
Guide technical implementation of system infrastructure and new software applications to support efficient deployment and adherence to project schedules.
Orchestrate transitions and system rollouts while minimizing operational disruptions.
Analyze incident trends, identify root causes, propose sustainable solutions to prevent future incidents, and establish monitoring protocols.
Provide specialized insights and build collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams to support successful project execution.
Establish and maintain knowledge bases so vital information is systematically recorded and readily available.
Collaborate with architects on technology-tool selection and assess the prospective influence of new technologies.
Contribute to technical implementation roadmaps based on client business needs.
Contribute software-application development insights to proposals and RFPs.
