About The Position

The Technical Project Manager will provide functions to support IT project management activities at unit level, this involves overseeing all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with support personnel and communicate clearly with government leadership. Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Strong documentation and technical writing abilities. Proven experience with the equipment covered under the contract. Proficient in utilizing computer-based project management tools.

Requirements

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable)
• US Citizenship is required
• Meet applicable DCWF DoD 8140 requirements for the assigned work role (802-IT Project Manager - Intermediate) through approved certifications, or education, or military training, or a combination thereof
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience in design and development
• At least five (5) years of management and supervisory experience overseeing military hardware and software development projects
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in systems analysis
• Required certification: Security+
• Able to travel to support mission up to 10%

Nice To Haves

• Qualifying 8140 certifications may include Security+, SecurityX/CASP+, or other DoD 8140-approved higher-level certifications aligned to the assigned work role
