About The Position

Proactive Technology Management (PTM) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to join its Project Management Office (PMO). This mid-senior-level, full-time remote role works at the interface of consulting and project management and serves as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through solution delivery and beyond. PTM’s PMO delivers technology solutions across areas including full-stack development, hyperautomation, cloud data analytics, and generative AI. The role involves translating client needs into technical requirements, planning and leading project delivery, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, communicating with clients and internal stakeholders, and contributing to process improvement. It may also include enterprise data modeling to support business processes and reporting.

Requirements

At least 5 years of combined experience in technical project management, engineering management, or technical product ownership, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Lean UX.
Excellent English communication, interpersonal management, project leadership, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Proven system analysis and data analysis skills, including ER diagramming and data modeling.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with C4 architecture and systems thinking.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Microsoft Azure is strongly preferred.
Experience with AWS is desirable.
Experience with data warehousing, hyperautomation, and AI/ML is a plus.
Domain knowledge in wealth management, financial services, revenue cycle management (RCM), electronic health records (EHR), and practice management systems (PMS) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable technical requirements.
Develop detailed project plans covering timelines, milestones, and resource allocation using the Monday.com-based project management system.
Lead and manage cross-functional teams of engineers, developers, and other technical specialists to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Ensure projects follow PTM’s Way of Working principles, including Lean UX, GTD-inspired workflows, and the C4 model for architectural clarity.
Communicate project progress and risks proactively and effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
Manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction with PTM’s services.
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and methodologies.
Perform enterprise data modeling as needed, including planning entities, attributes, and relationships to support business processes and reporting needs.
