About The Position

Bolder Apps is hiring a Technical Project Manager to manage software projects for US-based clients. The role is intended for someone experienced in delivering web and mobile applications in an agency, consultancy, or development studio, often across several clients at once. The Project Manager owns delivery from kickoff through launch, partnering with engineers on scoping and estimates, organizing sprints and timelines, controlling scope, and keeping clients informed. The engineering teams use AI tools in their daily work, so the role calls for making fast-moving delivery predictable for clients. This is a full-time, fully remote position open to candidates in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Uzbekistan, and Georgia, with daily overlap into US Eastern time. The focus is on delivery rather than product strategy. Bolder Apps is a product development studio that partners with US-based startups and established companies to build and scale digital products. Its areas of specialization include AI-powered development, full-cycle product creation, and engineering team augmentation. The company describes its culture as fast-moving, ownership-oriented, AI-friendly, autonomous, and collaborative, emphasizing ideas, impact, and curiosity.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience managing web and mobile app projects as a project manager, technical project manager, delivery manager, or in a similar role.
  • Experience delivering mobile apps, including taking client iOS and/or Android apps from kickoff through App Store and Google Play review and release; this experience is weighted heavily, though strong web-focused delivery experience is also considered.
  • Experience in an agency, consultancy, or development studio delivering software for external clients and managing multiple client projects at the same time.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to discuss web and mobile architecture, APIs, releases, and bugs with engineers and understand their timeline implications; coding is not required.
  • Proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines.
  • English proficiency at C1 or above for client calls and written updates.
  • Availability to overlap with US Eastern time through approximately 5 PM EST for live client coordination.
  • Strong written client communication, including clear status updates, change requests, and early communication of bad news with a plan.
  • Daily use of AI tools in one's own work and understanding of how AI-assisted development affects estimation and QA.

Nice To Haves

  • Agile or Scrum certification, such as PSM, CSM, PMP, or similar.
  • Experience with budgets, hourly or fixed-price client contracts, and change orders.
  • Experience working with US-based startups or founders.
  • Technical background, such as former developer, QA, or business analyst.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery for several client software projects simultaneously, each with its own scope, stakeholders, budget, and timeline.
  • Scope new work and develop estimates with engineers, then create realistic plans, milestones, and sprints.
  • Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, demos, and retrospectives, and keep timelines on track.
  • Identify risks early, control scope creep, push back on unrealistic requests, and manage change requests with clear time and cost impacts.
  • Keep clients informed through written updates, live status calls, and demos during US business hours.
  • Coordinate developers, designers, and QA to remove blockers and ensure work is checked before release.
  • Keep Jira, Linear, ClickUp, or the client's chosen project management tool accurate and up to date.
  • Plan and run web and mobile app launches and releases, including staging, App Store and Google Play submissions, and post-launch fixes.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to deliver products for the US market.
  • Steady pipeline of client work as part of a growing team.
  • Autonomy over how projects are run, without a rigid PM playbook.
  • Direct access to decision-makers, with no extra layers between the role and the people who own outcomes.
  • Peer network of other operators working on overlapping projects.
