About The Position

The Technical Project Manager will help drive the planning and execution of multiple projects spanning Navflex customers, strategic partners, suppliers, and internal product development. Reporting to the Director of Product, this role will work across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Field Deployment, typically managing 3–5 concurrent projects from initial planning through successful delivery and closeout. This is a hands-on execution role. You will establish clear plans, milestones, ownership, dependencies, and risk tracking across technically complex projects involving both internal teams and external organizations. You will be expected to identify issues early, drive follow-up, escalate blockers, and keep teams aligned around commitments and deadlines. The right candidate combines solid project-management fundamentals with a structured problem-solving and continuous-improvement mindset.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • 4+ years of project or program management experience, preferably involving technical products, industrial systems, or complex operations
  • Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams concurrently
  • Experience coordinating across Engineering, Product, Operations, Supply Chain, and/or Field teams
  • Experience working directly with external suppliers, partners, or customers
  • Working knowledge of project planning, risk management, dependency management, and project reviews
  • Demonstrated ability to identify project problems and coordinate teams toward resolution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work primarily on-site in Broomfield, Colorado
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in robotics, industrial automation, material handling, automotive, manufacturing equipment, or other complex electromechanical systems
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or practical experience applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project-management training
  • PMI-ACP, CSM or equivalent agile project management training

Responsibilities

  • Manage 3–5 concurrent projects, including customer deployments, supplier programs, OEM/partner initiatives, and internal product-development projects
  • Build and maintain project plans covering scope, schedule, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, and acceptance criteria
  • Translate complex technical programs into clear deliverables, owners, deadlines, and decision points
  • Lead recurring project reviews across Product, Engineering, Operations, Field Deployment, suppliers, partners, and customers
  • Assist with development execution using agile project management methodologies
  • Track actions and ensure commitments are completed or escalated before they become schedule issues
  • Maintain project risk registers and coordinate mitigation plans for technical, schedule, supplier, resource, and customer risks
  • Coordinate suppliers and external partners to keep deliverables aligned with Navflex requirements and schedules
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and follow-up activities arising from customer deployments, ensuring technical issues, product needs, customer commitments, and dependencies are clearly owned, tracked, and driven to resolution
  • Partner closely with Engineering teams to understand and track technical dependencies
  • Provide clear project reporting covering progress, risks, blockers, upcoming milestones, and decisions required
  • Facilitate structured problem-solving and corrective-action activities when projects encounter significant execution issues
  • Help develop and continuously improve Navflex's project-management processes, templates, and operating cadence
  • Travel to customer, supplier, partner, and Navflex locations as required to support project execution
