Technical Project Manager (Hardware Testing)

TekCommandsSunnyvale, CA
Onsite

About The Position

This role requires a hands-on technical executor who can manage testing environments, create and maintain documentation, and oversee deployments. The position is on-site in SVL, requiring occasional office visits for collaboration and hardware testing. Candidates must possess a professional executive presence, suitable for a building with senior leadership, including appropriate attire and communication skills. A self-directed work style is essential, with the ability to work independently, take initiative in documenting processes, collaborate effectively with team members, and participate in periodic check-ins without requiring daily micro-management. Key responsibilities include testing new content types in Boba 2.0 and Chameleon environments, vetting complex physical installations (touchscreens, multi-screen architectures, RFID readers, printers), writing technical setup guides, creating "Train-the-Trainer" videos, supporting the daily deployment pipeline by uploading assets and scheduling content, and conducting physical/technical audits to remove expired or broken demo assets. The role also involves creating internal utilities, potentially through shell scripts or cloud functions, to automate routine tasks.
