About The Position

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager 2 to support a major national laboratory. This role involves supporting and managing discrete technical construction scope, ensuring timely completion of all project elements. The Technical Project Manager 2 will oversee technical requirements; define and manage project deliverables, budgets, schedules, and risks; and support, while at times leading, the project team in planning, tracking, and executing the scope from initiation through turnover. The position requires managing project activities in alignment with Triad’s prime contract, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), and Department of Energy (DOE) 413.3B requirements. Work is organized into control accounts and corresponding work packages that define tasks necessary to meet programmatic objectives. The role reports to the Manager of Projects (MOP) and is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operational management of an assigned project/program area. This includes developing, implementing, and evaluating policies, procedures, and standards related to construction and work execution within a nuclear facility. The Technical Project Manager 2 will also support the development and monitoring of program budgets and provide technical guidance to project teams, support departments, and matrixed resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience; in lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience may be applicable.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required per contract.
  • Active U.S. Department of Energy Q clearance required.
  • Prior construction experience, particularly supporting work in a nuclear facility.
  • Candidates must have extensive experience working compliantly within strict nuclear security and classification environments.
