The Marketplace Tech team at Walmart develops scalable, innovative solutions supporting a vast retail ecosystem. This multidisciplinary group of engineers, architects, and product leaders collaborates to build robust platforms for fulfillment, logistics, and seller experience. Their work includes global supply chain integration, marketplace growth, and customer-focused delivery and returns solutions. Utilizing advanced technology, data insights, and domain expertise, the team ensures Walmart Marketplace remains agile, reliable, and ready to expand across new business models and markets, driving operational excellence and sustained growth.

Requirements

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 7 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
  • Option 2: 9 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Project Management.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area and 5 years’ experience in product design.
  • Candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

  • Lead and coordinate large-scale technical programs, defining goals, timelines, and key deliverables across multiple teams and dependencies.
  • Drive end-to-end system and solution design, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and manage stakeholder expectations to maintain program momentum.
  • Implement process improvements and automation to enhance team efficiency and delivery velocity.
  • Mentor team members on best practices in program management, technical design, and communication.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to guide decision-making and optimize program outcomes.
  • Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to achieve strategic technology initiatives.
