About The Position

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for the management, coordination, and implementation of Process Engineering projects. This role drives Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP), Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) initiatives, Engineering Support Requests (ESRs), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), and engineering-related safety improvement activities by coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring timely completion of project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; or 3 years related work experience in Semiconductor, Aerospace, Medical or Automotive industry in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting process improvement initiatives, Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP), Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reduction activities, Engineering Support Requests (ESRs), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), or other manufacturing improvement programs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops comprehensive project plans, including timelines, and dependencies to guide projects from initiation to completion.
  • Identifies necessary resource allocations or challenges to support project timelines.
  • Leads and coordinates cross functional efforts across teams to ensure alignment and effective project execution.
  • Identifies potential risks, develops mitigation strategies and proactively addresses issues to minimize project impact.
  • Tracks metrics against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinates and tracks Engineering Support Requests (ESRs) across engineering departments to ensure timely execution and closure.
  • Facilitates and drives Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP), Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) initiatives, and other operational improvement activities.
  • Tracks and drives Corrective Action Requests (CARs) assigned to engineering teams to ensure actions are completed and closed on schedule.
  • Coordinates and monitors engineering and technician activities related to safety improvements, corrective actions, hazard mitigation, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Supports Process Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams by coordinating priorities, tracking deliverables, and driving closure of project actions to enable successful execution of operational and improvement initiatives.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline workflows and improve project management across multiple sites.
  • Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practices.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
