This position provides leadership and oversight for technical project managers and support staff responsible for the successful delivery of IT projects supporting Department of Defense and U.S. Navy customers. The Technical Program Manager manages multiple software development and technical support efforts while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with contract requirements and organizational objectives. The Technical Program Manager works in coordination with the contract Program Manager to establish project management standards, quality assurance processes, delivery methodologies, and reporting structures that support successful execution across projects. This role oversees project planning, technical estimation, staffing coordination, risk management, customer communication, and process improvement initiatives. This role is expected to thoughtfully use AI tools to improve efficiency, productivity, and work quality in alignment with company policies. This position provides leadership to assigned project managers and technical personnel, including mentoring, performance management, workload balancing, and operational oversight. The role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments supporting mission-critical systems and software development efforts.
