Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service. Joby Aviation is seeking a motivated intern to support the technical program management (TPM) team this summer! Projects will primarily focus on the airframe but may grow to support other areas of the aircraft. As a TPM intern, you will primarily work with the design and manufacturing teams, as well as supply chain and testing teams, to identify bottlenecks, build should-cost models and develop framework-driven assessment tools to help realize operational efficiencies for the company. A successful candidate will be comfortable understanding technical discussions, developing strategic plans, leveraging analytical tools like Excel and Python, and communicating with a broad array of stakeholders. This role is an opportunity to own real cost-down initiatives from ideation through implementation and make a meaningful impact on Joby's S4 aircraft program.
