AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring customers have continuous access to the innovation they rely on. The Data Center Infrastructure Reliability and Quality (IRQ) Team specifically focuses on the quality and reliability of critical infrastructure equipment throughout its lifecycle. This includes leading Design for Reliability (DFR) and Design for Quality (DFQ) efforts for new product development, identifying systemic equipment issues in the existing fleet, and driving root cause analysis and corrective actions. The Technical Program Manager for Quality and Reliability for Mechanical and Power Generation Products will lead multi-discipline technical program teams, drive quality and reliability initiatives in a complex engineering environment, and manage data center infrastructure technologies such as HVAC, power distribution systems, and security devices. This role involves generating enhanced reporting, meaningful KPIs, and process/automation improvements to ensure team efficiency and visibility to stakeholders and leadership. The TPM will partner with other engineering, purchasing, and project execution teams, make strategic decisions, connect long-term strategies with AWS's rapid growth, and guide operational needs. The role requires identifying and communicating risks, issues, and bottlenecks, and resolving them across departmental boundaries. Strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills are essential for fostering robust working relationships.
