About The Position

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will use technical expertise to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners, explaining analyses and recommendations to executives and discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers. The role is part of PLANET (Platform Accelerators and Networking), which brings together expertise in networking, accelerator (ML/AI) systems, and networking algorithms to build large-scale networks that enable AI solutions. The team designs and builds data center networks, including TPU, GPU, and IPU networking hardware, and deploys complex networking software stacks. As a PLANET Networking Technical Program Manager, you will lead the lifecycle of networking infrastructure across accelerator and machine learning networks, advanced switching architectures, and SmartNIC technologies, supporting their integration and deployment through cross-functional leadership. The AI and Infrastructure team delivers AI and infrastructure capabilities at scale, efficiency, reliability, and velocity for Google customers, Google Cloud customers, and Google users. The work supports AI models, global services, and platforms for developers, across areas including TPUs, Vertex AI for Google Cloud, Google Global Networking, data center operations, and systems research.
