About The Position

itD is seeking a Technical Program Manager (AI-Native) to drive operational excellence and accelerate AI-powered transformation within Meta’s Family of Apps (FOA) Decision Science organization. This role plays a critical part in enabling high-performing data science teams to translate marketing data into measurable business impact across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads, and Messenger. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in technical program management within data science, analytics, or AI-driven environments, along with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive measurable outcomes such as improved decision-making, workflow automation, and scalable AI solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or related roles
  • Experience working in AI-native environments or on AI-driven projects
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex discussions into structured plans, frameworks, and actionable outcomes
  • Strong understanding of data, software development, and analytics workflows
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs end-to-end
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to automate or accelerate program management tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field required

Responsibilities

  • Lead and establish strong operating rhythms across data science teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery and alignment with business priorities
  • Drive roadmap planning, including quarterly prioritization, adjustments, and execution tracking
  • Break down complex initiatives into actionable tasks and ensure work is properly scoped for data scientists and engineers
  • Track project progress, milestones, risks, and deliverables while proactively unblocking issues and resolving dependencies
  • Coordinate across data science, data engineering, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless collaboration and execution
  • Develop and maintain clear project documentation, knowledge repositories, and communication frameworks
  • Provide regular, executive-level updates on program status, timelines, and risks
  • Operate AI-first by leveraging tools to generate status reports, summarize meetings, and create program artifacts for rapid iteration
  • Build and maintain AI-driven workflows to automate recurring processes such as reporting, updates, and retrospectives
  • Evaluate, pilot, and onboard new AI tools and capabilities to improve team productivity and efficiency
  • Create and maintain structured, machine-readable documentation to support AI-assisted workflows and decision-making
  • Identify and implement opportunities where AI can meaningfully enhance team output and business impact
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities
