About The Position

The AI Product Owner bridges business goals, data science, and Agile engineering to define, prioritize, and deliver artificial intelligence and machine learning features. The role identifies valuable AI/ML use cases, collaborates with data and engineering teams, manages iterative product backlogs, and translates complex AI capabilities into user stories and acceptance criteria. It also supports responsible AI governance and monitors model performance, adoption, accuracy, and business outcomes after launch.

Requirements

• Mandatory skill: GCP AI Architecture.
• 5–8 years of experience.
• AI/ML acumen and familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, or predictive modeling.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate technical and business concepts effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Basic data literacy, such as SQL or Python.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Azure AI, or agentic frameworks to draft user stories, simulate edge cases, and run pre-mortem or what-if analyses.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related business field.
• 5+ years in product management, software development, management consulting, or data analytics, with direct exposure to AI/ML products.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact use cases where AI/ML delivers genuine user value.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and data analysts to define dataset requirements, data cleanliness, labeling, and accuracy thresholds.
• Structure and prioritize Agile backlogs for experimentation, data collection, model training, validation, and fallback logic.
• Translate AI capabilities such as LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows into INVEST-compliant user stories, test cases, and Gherkin-style acceptance criteria.
• Support compliance with data privacy regulations and AI frameworks, including GDPR and the EU AI Act, by auditing for bias and transparency and implementing human-in-the-loop safeguards.
• Track post-launch model drift, user adoption, accuracy metrics, and business ROI.
• Translate technical architecture into business outcomes for leadership and business constraints into clear guidance for engineers.
