Technical Product Owner

AP MAX INC Remote, US,
$100,000 - $120,000Remote

About The Position

Allia Health Group (AHG) is a multi-entity healthcare organization spanning the Brello patient platform, HelloWellness patient care, Southend Pharmacy (SEP), and Zito Care. AHG aims to redefine industry trends by commoditizing anti-aging solutions, making them affordable and accessible. The product team builds technology connecting patients, providers, and pharmacy operations, including patient-facing mobile and web experiences and internal platforms. This is a small, high-ownership team where work ships quickly and reaches real patients. Allia Health Group is seeking a Technical Product Owner to fully own Brello and the HelloWellness Patient Platform, our flagship patient-facing products, which are currently mid-way through a major platform migration. The role involves taking over day-to-day product ownership from the Head of Product and managing the entire process, including backlog, requirements, releases, QA coordination, and stakeholder communication. This position is alongside a peer TPO who owns other product lines. The ideal candidate will be the primary point of contact for engineering, design, and business stakeholders regarding the patient platform, requiring full context, decision-making ability, and clear communication.

Requirements

  • 4+ years as a product owner, technical product manager, or similar role owning a live software product end to end
  • Strong technical fluency: you can read API docs, discuss architecture trade-offs with engineers, and write requirements developers trust
  • Experience owning releases in production environments — QA coordination, defect management, and rollout planning
  • Excellent written communication for both technical and executive audiences
  • Comfort operating with high autonomy in a remote, fast-moving team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with patient-facing or consumer health products, or other regulated-industry software
  • Experience managing platform migrations or re-platforming efforts
  • Familiarity with subscription/membership products and mobile app release cycles

Responsibilities

  • Own the product backlog and roadmap execution for Brello and the HW Patient Platform, including the ongoing migration of patients to the new experience
  • Write clear, technically-grounded requirements and acceptance criteria; work daily with engineering on scoping, trade-offs, and sequencing
  • Own release management for your products: QA gates, release readiness, defect triage, and post-release follow-through
  • Run stakeholder communication across business, clinical, and operations teams — including customer-facing change comms for migration and feature rollouts
  • Use analytics and customer feedback to prioritize, and bring a point of view on what to build next.
  • Flag risks early and escalate with proposed solutions, not just problems

Benefits

  • Full benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401(k) with company match, PTO, Flex days, holidays, and more!
