About The Position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Product Owner - Hybrid for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, or Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. In this role, you will drive the development of scalable backend services, working closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize Java-based middleware solutions. You will play a key role in shaping product strategy, aligning technical deliverables with business objectives to ensure the middleware platform supports current and future product needs. This position requires a strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, service orchestration, and Linux environments.

Requirements

Expertise in Java middleware systems running on Linux platforms
Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and service orchestration
Experience with RHEL
Experience with JBoss EAP
Proficiency in Shell Scripting and Python
Experience with Packer

Nice To Haves

Experience with Ansible
Experience with Terraform
Experience with OpenShift

Responsibilities

Drive the development of scalable backend services
