Technical Product Marketing Manager

Maybell Quantum IndustriesDenver, CO
$110,000 - $150,000

About The Position

At Maybell Quantum, we’re redefining the future of computing. As a venture-backed quantum hardware innovator experiencing rapid growth, we’re building technology that will transform industries for decades to come. Quantum computers will be as transformative to the next 30 years as the internet was to the last 30—and our team is creating the hardware foundation to make this revolution possible. We're seeking a technically fluent, ambitious Technical Product Marketing Manager to join our commercial team. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role built for someone who is early in their career but exceptional at what they do—someone ready to take on real responsibility, grow quickly, and help shape how an emerging industry understands itself. You'll define how Maybell's technology is positioned, differentiated, and communicated to the market. You'll translate complex cryogenic, RF, and quantum infrastructure solutions into compelling narratives that resonate with technical buyers, executive decision-makers, government stakeholders, strategic partners, and the broader quantum ecosystem. This role requires both strategic thinking and exceptional communication skills. You may come from product marketing, technical marketing, engineering, physics, scientific communications, or technology journalism, but you must be capable of quickly developing deep technical understanding and transforming that knowledge into clear, persuasive content and messaging. You'll partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and executive leadership to accelerate market adoption, strengthen Maybell's brand, and establish the company as a leading voice in the future of quantum computing. For the right person, this role is a direct path to building and leading our marketing function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Marketing, Technical Communications, Journalism, or a related technical or scientific field.
  • 3–6 years of product marketing, technical marketing, technical communications, science journalism, or go-to-market experience—we care far more about the quality of your work than the number of years.
  • Experience marketing technical products to sophisticated buyers (enterprise, government, or research); deep-tech, hardware, semiconductor, scientific instrumentation, or quantum industry experience is a strong plus.
  • Ability to go deep on technical subject matter—you don't need a PhD, but you need to be comfortable learning the physics and engineering behind our products.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to sophisticated audiences.
  • Experience creating technical content, thought leadership materials, whitepapers, research reports, engineering-focused marketing assets, or technology journalism.
  • Ability to interview technical subject matter experts and synthesize complex information into clear, compelling narratives.
  • A portfolio of written work, publications, technical content, or marketing materials is strongly preferred.
  • Comfort operating with autonomy and ambiguity in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment.
  • Demonstrated desire to own and build—not just execute someone else's playbook.
