This role supports the department’s innovation and operations through Microsoft solutions. The position focuses on Microsoft Power Platform tools—including Pages, Apps, Automate, BI, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse—and SharePoint, and on understanding how these tools are used at Mayo Clinic to address business challenges. The Technical Product Manager drives the vision, technical strategy, requirements, design, and development execution for an assigned technical product or capability, aligning these with business requirements, roadmaps, and organizational goals. The role advocates for end users through data- and research-driven product discovery and development, and helps coordinate Engineering, Data Science, Product, Business, Platform, and other priorities. The role supports the product lifecycle from vision-setting and team management through feature planning, capacity and scope management, technology acquisition or development, and delivery of a high-quality user experience on time and within budget. It applies Agile product methodologies and helps lead a collaborative, high-performing cross-functional team. The position uses market and customer feedback and data to guide product development, builds partnerships with business stakeholders, monitors product and operational risks, and manages schedules, scope, budgets, performance scorecards, OKRs, and assigned vendor and partnership relationships. Work is collaborative across CDH domains, Mayo Clinic Shared Services, internal Mayo Clinic clients, and external business partners. A Scrum Product Owner certification must be obtained within one year.
